"Alex" Chao

Mr. Chao (Alex) was born in 1983 in China. He has extensive experiences in private equity and real estate investments. He is currently serving as senior advisors to publicly traded companies, private funds, and NGOs in both China and the US. 

 

From Oct. 2017 to Jun. 2019, he worked as Chief Executive Officer at Beijing Zhenru Investment Management Co., Ltd., a private equity company in Beijing. Under such capacity, he oversees the overall management of the company, including business strategy development, budget planning, company policies and personnel. In addition to the senior management role, he is also hands-on in leading the investment department on all investment and M&A projects across different industries including IT, financial services, education, real estate and oil & gas. 

 

Prior to that, he worked at Guotai Junan Securities Firm as Director of Investment Banking, where he was responsible for deal sourcing, valuation, due diligence and negotiation, risk control and execution of investment documents. Prior to that, he worked in the Ministry of Education in China as a Deputy Director, responsible for communications and liaison with government agencies and private companies in the sector of education in the Americas and Oceana. In that position, he established extensive relationships to promote investments from Chinese companies in the Americas and Oceana. 

 

Mr. Feng received his Master of Accounting degree from University of Melbourne in 2009, and a Bachelor of Business degree from Victoria University in 2006. He is also a member of CPA Australia.
